MHAIA is dedicated to supplying consistent high-quality avocados throughout the year. Avocados from Mexico are available year-round and can be found in your local grocery store in the produce aisle.

MHAIA’s Mission is to drive sustainable growth of avocado shipments from Mexico through demand generation, research, and education.

Avocados from Mexico (the company) (AFM), is a subsidiary of MHAIA and a joint venture with APEAM (Association of Avocado Exporting Producers and Packers of Mexico), formed for the purpose of advertising, promotion, public relations and research for all stakeholders of Avocados from Mexico. Under agreements, MHAIA and APEAM have combined resources to fund and manage AFM, with the intent to provide a focused, highly effective and efficient marketing program in the United States. AFM is headquartered in Irving, Texas.
